For Cobra Club Records the excavation through The Hague’s bustling scene continues, they keep unearthing some amazing talent and hidden legends. Their 3rd Ep by Voertuig is no exception, 5 tracks with 3 original cuts by the band and 2 incredible remixes by Dazion and Epsilove & Shelter.
Stabs is a house cut that just builds and builds until it transcends you into a state of ecstatic bliss. They must have just come back from LA before writing Zandvoort, the energy of the track breathes the city, with some The Hague energy mixed in for good measure.
Epsilove & Shelter’s remix flips the jam 180 degrees and takes you on a tripped out journey of the original. A whole load of flying carpets on Laurens van Arabia, with some The Hague attitude added in for good measure. Dazion knew exaclty what to he wanted to do, he wanted to do it all and he made it work. A controlled schizophrenic ride through genres, with plenty of rave stabs, breakbeat build ups and percussive bubbling rhythms.
